We understand how important running is to runners

We have experience in dealing with Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Pain, Calf problems, Runners Knee, Hip Bursitis, Hip pain etc.

Running is one of the most rewarding forms of exercise available because of the amount of benefit you can gain in a very short space of time. However, that comes with a significant amount of stress.

Our Assessment

Through our assessment process we will look at your strength, flexibility, movement, foot posture and even your running technique. Our aim is to identify everything that contributes to your current excessive stress/load.

Once we have identified it then we will work with you to reduce the stress (often in multiple areas) to ensure that your body can tolerate the training you want to do.

How do we help?

Importantly, in the way we work we rarely ask people to stop training.

With the right guidance normally by slightly reducing the training that you are doing we can reduce the stress on your body, whilst still allowing you to run, until your body is working well enough to return to full training.

Typically, most running injuries respond very well to exercises aimed at increasing flexibility and strength. We will create a bespoke programme for you based on your assessment. This will be provided through our easy-to-use App complete with videos. From here your programme will be updated weekly based on your progress.

We will also provide advice on how and when to increase the amount of running that you are doing, as well as any other form of exercise.
